The Monae Life Academy is ecstatic to present the Texture Education Series model demo classes LIVE! Classes were created to increase attendees' and entrants' confidence in styling all four hair textures: straight, wavy, curly, and coily. This live class is perfect for hairstylists at every level of their careers.
The Texture Education Series; Curly Hair Focus class will feature the tools, techniques, and tips needed for styling curly hair to help give stylists the confidence to submit their entries into Texture Style Awards.
Co-facilitated by Monaè Everett and Vasi Vassilakis, this straight hair-specific class will:
Demonstrate hair styling tips for curly hair specifically creating a uniform curl pattern, building volume, and creating up styles.
Show go-to products and tools used for slaying each look.
Display the best ways to capture your own images to submit to the Texture Style Awards.

Monaé Everett is a celebrity hair stylist, author, and Diversity Equity and Inclusion consultant with over 20 years of experience. Her work can be seen in media ranging from Harper's BAZAAR to Yahoo! and ESSENCE to Hair's How. She has worked with celebs including Tia Mowry, Yara Shahidi, Emily Tosta, and Nickelodeon starlets including Lilimar and That Girl Lay Lay.

Vasi has been with the Bio Ionic and Ouidad Education team for over a decade and is considered an expert in the industry. Vasi also supports other brands in different capacities. He will continue to inspire from platforms and stages, create social content, and explore digital education content creation. Additionally, he will support future corporate photoshoots and campaigns.
